The investor of the new hotel was JSC Yaroslavl Technical Carbon named after V.Yu. Orlov. The Lastochka has 15 rooms located on three floors, two banquet halls, the Barin restaurant and a coffee shop. The name of the Lastochka hotel is associated with Eldar Ryazanov's film Cruel Romance, based on Alexander Ostrovsky's play The Dowry.

"Another restaurant and hotel complex has been put into operation, the second in a year. I would like to thank everyone who took part in this project," said Sergey Orlov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Yaroslavl Technical Carbon named after V.Yu. Orlov.

The opening of the new hotel was attended by the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Mikhail Evraev. The head of the region especially emphasized that this is the first five-star hotel in Yaroslavl.

"The Lastochka Hotel is the first five-star hotel to open in our region. Everything is done very well here, and it looks much bigger inside than outside. The corridors are huge and spacious. And it seems that there are not 15 rooms here, but all 50. It is clear that not only serious money was invested here, but also heart. You can feel it. Everything was done with love, with soul," Governor Mikhail Evraev said during the opening ceremony.

Of the 15 hotel rooms, 8 are first-class and 7 are of the highest category. There are 3 Junior Suites and apartments with an area of 54 square meters. The hotel investor announced the main principles of the Lastochka operation.
